Are you ready for 2008?
During the summer of 2008, the Order of the Arrow and the USDA Forest Service will be partners for ArrowCorps5 the Order’s 2008 program of emphasis. ArrowCorps5 will be one of the most ambitious service-oriented projects that the Boy Scouts of America has undertaken in its 98-year history. The program will bring 5,000 Arrowmen together over five weeks to provide service to five national forests across the country.
This summer the chance of a lifetime is available to you. Our lodge leaders have selected Bridger-Teton National Forest/Wyoming (July 26 – August 2, 2008) as our contingent destination. There are four other destinations you can also attend but your attendance must be registered through our lodge. Don’t miss this chance for brotherhood, fellowship, a chance to make lasting friendships for years to come.
While being a part of the largest conservation project in the OA's history, you will also be part of a close-knit group of Arrowmen not only from our council and state, but from across the country. Together we will get to know each other, trust each other, and depend on each other as we work to improve a U.S. National Forest that will provide memorable experiences for future visitors. Brotherhood, fellowship and cheerful service are awaiting us this summer!
Register today with your $100 deposit to the council office front desk. The remaining fee payment schedule will be determined soon. It will include the cost for contingent merchandise and travel.
Be a part of ArrowCorps5!
